High Atlas Hiking is a locally owned and operated trekking company based in Imlil, in the heart of Morocco's High Atlas Mountains. For over 15 years, we have been organising exceptional walking holidays and guided treks for travellers from around the world — from easy day hikes near Marrakech to multi-day summit climbs of Mount Toubkal, North Africa's highest peak.

Originally founded to serve French-speaking travellers, we have grown and evolved over the years to welcome clients from every corner of the globe. Since 2014 we have continuously reinvented our offering — adding new routes, new destinations, and an ever-growing team of passionate, licensed local mountain guides who know the High Atlas like the back of their hand.

We specialise in getting you off the beaten track and into the real Morocco — remote Berber villages, dramatic mountain passes, hidden valleys, and ancient trails that most visitors never discover. We take equal pride in every detail of your experience: the routes we choose, the traditional guesthouses we recommend, the food we serve on the trail, and the personal care we put into every custom itinerary.
