What to Expect

Your adventure begins in Imlil (1,740m), the gateway to the Atlas Mountains. As we set out, you'll find yourself immersed in the stunning Tamatert Valley before ascending to the Tizi n'Tamatert pass (2,279m). From here, descend into the picturesque Imenane Valley, where the landscape transforms into a tapestry of terraced fields and fragrant walnut and apple groves.

Our path winds through charming Berber villages, each offering a glimpse into traditional mountain life. As we reach Amssakrou, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of Jbel Oukaïmeden (3,268m) and the surrounding peaks. This scenic spot sets the stage for a truly special experience – lunch in a traditional Berber home. Here, you'll savor authentic local cuisine and experience the warmth of Moroccan hospitality firsthand.

Energized from our meal, we'll continue our journey through the Tizi n'Aguerssiouâl pass (1,767m) and into the Assif n' Aït Mizane Valley. The trail leads us through more villages, including Aguerssiouâl, each with its own unique charm. As we make our way back towards Imlil, you'll be treated to stunning vistas of the High Atlas, including glimpses of Jbel Toubkal, North Africa's highest peak.

Throughout the day, you'll traverse diverse terrains, from lush valleys to rocky mountain paths. Your expert guide will share insights into the local flora, fauna, and Berber culture, enriching your trekking experience.
